Our tradefit Grade 3 fire door kits are designed, tested and certified for fire doors in environments classified as Heavy Duty. They are ideal for high-traffic buildings with less than 40 occupants where users may have little incentive to exercise care with some chance of door misuse and abuse.
These kits include a size 2-4 door closer with backcheck, offering easy power adjustment via a simple screw on the door for quick installation and effortless ongoing adjustments. Ball-bearing hinges ensure smooth door operation, while locks, hinges, and handles are tested to "Heavy Duty" CE and UKCA standards, withstanding 250,000 cycle testing.
This kit, backed by a 10-year mechanical guarantee, ensures you have fitted properly tested and accredited ironmongery for your chosen environment.

The Emergency Escape Door HMO Lock Kit
- For use on doors that need to be locked for security but will allow escape via one single lever operation from inside.
- Key to lock from outside, Thumb turn to lock inside, one turn lever escape from inside. When unlocked the handles will operate freely from both sides of the door.
- When the inside lever handle is operated, both the latch and deadbolt are withdrawn simultaneously, allowing a locked door to opened from the inside just by operating the internal door handle. Must be used in conjunction with the supplied door handles or this lock will not comply with the British / European standard.
- This kit should be fitted by a competent professional tradesman.
