Our Grade 14 fire door hinges are suitable for high-use public buildings including schools, hospitals, student accommodation and public toilets with 40+ occupants. Designed for the most demanding environments, they provide reliable fire door performance on heavy weight timber and steel doors.
Manufactured from Grade 201 stainless steel, these hinges are tested and certified to BS EN 1935:2002 Grade 14 and are suitable for doors weighing up to 160kg. The robust construction makes them suitable for both commercial and residential applications where durability and long-term performance are essential.
The hinges are EN1634 tested and approved for use on 30, 60, 90 and 120 minute timber fire doors, as well as 240 minute steel fire doors. They are also Certifire approved, providing independent third-party certification for use on fire door assemblies. Their self-lubricating design helps ensure smooth operation throughout the life of the hinge while reducing maintenance requirements.
The 102 x 76 x 3mm format makes them suitable for a wide range of heavy-duty fire door applications in schools, universities, offices, shops, restaurants, hotels and other public buildings.
