A favourite with builders, thanks to its wide range of uses in construction. It's a great choice for softwood, hardwood, chipboard and even fibre board. Its special wax coating helps you to drill it in faster and also makes your job easier by cutting down on insertion force.
The screw's extra deep insert bit recess improves worksite safety as it allows you to hold the screw firmly while you're drilling it in. The coating offers excellent protection against the weathering effects of water and oxygen so the screw won't rust easily. This coating has also undergone an additional passivation process to give it extra resistance to corrosion. The screw's single thread design ensures a tight join, especially when fastening MDF boards.
