Our 5-pin cylinders offer a good level of security and have the ability to be keyed to customers’ specific requirements with keying options: keyed to differ (KD), keyed alike (KA) and under master key (MK). This range of cylinders is available in a wide selection of sizes, styles and finishes, and suitable for both commercial and domestic use. The cylinders feature an anti-drill, anti-pick and sacrificial break off-system, are tested to BS EN 1303, and are an ideal choice for FD30/60 timber fire doors. Supplied complete with securing bolt and 3 keys.
- Keyed Alike cylinders are commonly ordered in multiple quantities, with each cylinder being opened by the same key. Used in buildings with multiple offices or cupboards as only one key is needed for all locks, making it a more efficient system. If you only need one cylinder and one key, we recommend ordering a Keyed to Differ cylinder

What does Keyed to Differ mean?
- Keyed to Differ means that all cylinders will have their own unique key - this is the most common and simplest keying option for cylinders as it offers maximum security.
What does Master Keyed mean?
- Master Keyed cylinders each have their own unique keys but the whole suite can be opened by one main master key. Most commonly used in schools where individuals can have their own keys but maintenance staff can still access all rooms with one master key. If ordering one of our Master Key cylinders, please note that these are supplied with differ keys and the Master Key should be ordered separately here.
